So we are home and almost recovered from this weekend!  We went up to the Celtic Fling at Mt Hope Winery.  Being days away from 8 months pregnant in that heat was rough but I had good people taking care of me.  It was a lot of fun but I wish I had done more socializing.  Most of Sat was spent working the clan Donald tent.  Sunday we meant to be more social but due to the heat I ended up leaving early.  We got to meet new friends and see old friends.  I have pics up on my photos.  It was a great time and what small amount of time we heard of the shows sounded great!  The regional commissioner of our clan was there and asked my husband to carry the clan colors in the clan parades both days.  It was a great honor for us!  Anyway, it was a great weekend.  We may see some of you at the end of Faire this year.  As the baby should be 2 months at that point, it should be safe to come out for it!  See you around!

Day 2 and I have spent most of my time working on pictures.  I have tons more but just put up some of the better ones.  This season I think I took around 1000 pictures.  So there are pictures of PARF, Celtic Fling (both from 2007), and IWG pictures.  I hope people enjoy them.  Sometimes I just love hiding behind the camera and watching people have a great time.  I also love looking at pictures.  I have checked out some of the other pictures on here and appreciate people putting them up.  Anyway, this year will be rough not being at Faire (the baby boy is due 3 weeks after opening weekend).  SO I plan to live through others photos of faire!  I guess that is it for now.  I hope everyone enjoys the pics and they bring a smile to your face!

So here it is coming to the end of my first day on Renspace.  So far, A few of my fellow wenches have graced me with their friend requests and acceptance!  It has been a while since I have had a blog.  So I am not sure how well I will keep up with it!  We will see!  Anyway, I am happy to be on here and look forward to hearing from people and sharing memories!

Hey baby!

    I just thought I would take a moment and introduce myself!  Although I am not completely new to the Faire, I am still within my garb newbie status.  I have only been to PARF but look forward to expanding my experiences as time and money permit!  As a new-ish member of the IWG (Local #9), I do know some people already on here but remotely.  Also as a newbie, I may refer to something incorrectly or phrase something wrong.  I apologize for any confusion I may cause with that right off the bat!  The Faire interests include the wenches, the rogues, Scottish events (McDoanld bloodline), and generla goofiness!  I am a little shy at first (not as much as the husband) but will come out of my shell!  Then look out!  THe next year or so, I may be kind of quiet at faires and such as I am expecting my first child in Aug 2008 and don't know how that will effect my life other than change it completely!  Anyway, I look forward to meeting new friends, getting closer to old ones, and seeing where this great journey called life takes me!
